Le Bertole

Le Bertole, a farm owned by the Bortolin family, has rapidly established itself on the Italian and international scene for the production of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG sparkling wines, as evidenced by the many awards and recognitions received from 1997 to today. The first vinifications of the Bortolin family began in the 1980s. In 1997 Gianfranco and his wife Viviana built their own winery under the "Le Bertole" brand, from the vineyard of the same name that produces Cartizze, located in the territory of Saccol, a hamlet of Valdobbiadene.

Historical passion and continuous innovation meet in the Le Bertole winery, giving life to the spell of the transformation of the grapes of these lands into sparkling wines of excellence. From grapes to vinification, from sparkling wine to marketing, the passion does not change, each bottle produced in the family business is the result of careful processing, where technological innovation allows you to find the right and harmonious combination of the history of the territory and tradition.

To date, the company boasts 18 hectares of property, 2 of which are from Cartizze, with vines located in 13 locations. Le Bertole exclusively produces wines that follow the DOCG regulations of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. About 300,000 bottles are produced per year.

Le Bertole organizes tastings from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 18:30, while on Saturdays from 09:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 18:00. Visits to the winery are only possible on Saturdays by prior reservation.

During the visit to the winery of the company, Gianfranco - or one of his collaborators - will tell the guests the history, the territory and the production process: starting from the introduction of the grapes (rigorously harvested by hand), the vinification, the sparkling wine and finally bottling

After discovering the careful work behind each bottle of Valdobbiadene DOCG, the experience continues in the tasting room or in the outdoor area, if time permits, already perfectly set up for tasting the company's products. This will make the participants understand the qualities of the inimitable Valdobbiadene DOCG, in all its peculiarities. Our guests will thus be able to combine knowledge with taste and live a unique experience of its kind.
